Team 997 was one of four FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams founded in the Willamette Valley in the fall of 2001 with seed money from HP and the use of facilities at Corvallis High School. The team had 15 students, and that year, we won the Rookie All-Star award. In our 17 years of competition, our team has won 3 regional championships, and we have qualified each of the 6 years since the start of Pacific Northwest Districts. In our 17 years of competition, we have made it to World Championships four times and competed in Division Finals twice.
